While considering the celebration of the gift that created an art museum at KU, Megan Murphy found herself reflecting on the opportunities she pursued as a student employee at the Spencer Museum of Art. As she learned more about the powerful women who paved the way for her, she created this mixed-media painting to pay homage to the Museum’s rich history.
