This bag is woven by the native women. The two ends (fringed) are sewn together adn the sides part way up leaving the loop end open so the hand can be thrust through. The type of bag is supplanted by a larger one woven from rattan and carried on the shoulders like a knapsack though a few of the women wear cloth ones.
