This work of art was created using a computer-plotter. A computer-plotter is a device that follows commands from the computer and prints those commands onto paper. When a set of data is entered into a computer, the plotter produces an image representation of the data. Many of the works of art created by Charles and Colette Bangert and given to the Spencer Museum by Charles and Colette Bangert were produced using this method. Some were mathematical equations that produced visual imagery when printed.
