"Japan Re-imagined/Post-war Art," Mar-2008, Kris Ercums
Ikeda’s use of fragmented imagery, ranging from golf to the overtly sensual, creates a contemplative world of muted dialogue between erotic situations and more profane reality.
Floating between clouds, the imagery in his prints seems to exist in the timelessness of the dream world.
