"Asclepias in the Garden: Nature as a Model for Age Friendly Health Care with Older Adults"

How have plants and gardens supported health across centuries and cultures? Learn and explore with artist Marguerite Perret through her own art and research as well as Clendening collections. This program is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Asclepias in the Garden: Nature as a Model for Age Friendly Health Care with Older Adults, on view in the Murphy Hall Lobby October 17, 2026–January 6, 2027. This exhibition was developed by Perret as part of the Kansas 4M Geriatrics Workforce Education Program/KU Spencer Museum of Art Arts Research Integration (ARI) Fellowship. Lunch will be provided for the first 25 attendees.
