Rinaudot attempts to amuse us with a pun centered on the idea of cosmetics as a kind of camouflage and the double sense of camouflage rendered as “camoufle” (to disguise) and “l’age” (age). Remarkably, the cosmetics industry was bolstered by medicalresearch into covering wounds during WWI.
