This candleholder is a part of the Mexican Tree of Life tradition. Originally, these candleholders showed stories from the Judeo-Christian Bible. The Tree of Life comes from the biblical story of the Garden of Eden, where the first man and woman lived. Over time, artists began to create candleholders with other themes. This candleholder covered with bright and fanciful plants and birds celebrates nature.

What animals would you include on a tree of life sculpture?
