For thousands of years artists have created landscapes and seascapes to make sense of their surroundings. In this image Ault attempts to visualize a concept rather than a place.Timescape is a dynamic, fast-paced sequence of lines and shapes. These elements advance and recede just as time approaches and passes quickly. As we consider a duration of time, details are sometimes forgotten or simplified and experiences are abstracted, as they are in this tunnel of color and form.
