This exhibition examines the centuries long tradition of figure drawing. The exhibition includes works by artists in Europe and the United States, dating from the 16th century to the present. The drawings are divided into several categories that deal with technical issues of drawing as well as issues involved with the act of modeling. Emphasis is placed on the various techniques, processes, and materials used to execute the drawings.
